Thanks to individual Members’ contributions over the past 2 years, IRSP has survived as a not-for-profit, tax-deductible organization, as established by IRS 501(c)(3) Rules in these United States. Because we are so small and independent-minded, it has been thus far extremely difficult as well to find financial support from established giving institutions. We are pressing on nonetheless, with your help and support.
We have been saying “thank you” to our supporters by offering them irsp-member-certificate that is signed by our Director with gold stars added to it based on the contributed amount. We have now decided to expand that Program, knowing that you will join us in our research and policy suggestions for a better Haiti. Here is how our Program works:
- If you give up to US $25, you receive a small certificate from IRSP as a way to thank you for your support.
- Starting at US $25, you become an IRSP member. As a member, you receive a plaque with a star in pdf format. You can print that plaque in color and frame it, just like you do for a regular diploma.
- Each other US $25 added to your basic membership contribution gives you an additional gold star on your membership plaque for the year.
- Once you reach the US $125 threshold, your membership plaque is crowned, in addition to the gold encryptions.

- You get to know all the behind-the-scenes scoops, such as current policy research being made by IRSP on and about Haiti.
- You get to be the first to read the final reports in their entirety. The casual non-contributing IRSP reader only gets to know about the research and its findings afterwards, and only has access to summary of those reports.
- You are added to a VIP list (as opposed to the regular list) that receives regular emails regarding important new texts that are posted on the website.
- You become first in line to be able to post your own writing and opinions on the IRSP website, in a special section called Reader’s Opinion Section.
