If anyone doubted it before, it has finally been evidenced by the recent Haiti events that Wyclef Jean might indeed become the next president of Haiti.
The intent here is not to diminish the value of a man who decided for reasons of his own to remain a Haitian citizen, despite living in the United States for more than 30 years. Wyclef is commendable, if for nothing else, for his personal mission to help bring peace and security into the minds and hearts of so many Haitians who live in abject misery.
In some ways, Wyclef has always been part musician, part politician.... more…
